With over 31 years of experience in special education administration, our team is here to make certain your child receives the best education possible.   We offer one to one emotional and behavioral support as well as direct assistance with your child's education within his school. Our team is fluent in IDEA and the development of IEPs for all eligibility categories and will  help to ensure that accommodations, modifications, related services, and proper placement for your child are in place.

ADVOCACY SERVICES

  • Helps parents put requests in writing.
  • Assists parents with strategies to help their child succeed.
  • Represents the best interests of the student in the educational process.
  • Will inform parent/guardians of their rights.
  • If need arises, will research a specific legal issue or case that is pertinent to a child’s education program.
  • Suggests appropriate services, programs and accommodations/modifications to meet the student’s individual needs.
  • ​Helps interpret the meaning of assessments and reports to parents, and explain their significance.​.​
  • Prepares parents for the IEP/504 meeting.
  • Reviews special education documents, including files, assessments, report cards, and observation reports.
  • Accompanies parents to relevant school meetings to provide advice and assistance.
  • Reviews IEP documents before you sign them.
  • Drafts letters, responses, complaints and written requests to school and district officials.​
  • Help advise you on the strength of a due process case and make referrals to local special education attorneys if need be.​
  • If need arises, will research a specific legal issue or case that is pertinent to a child’s education program.​
EMOTIONAL & BEHAVIORAL COUNSELING
Include assessing student's condition, fostering positive behavior, minimizing negative habits, monitoring progress,  helping to improve students' ability to learn and their life.

​COST: Cost based on service.  Discount for low-income families.
